We pride ourselves in providing a personal service and strive to treat all of our clients as individuals.

We are not only passionate about Pilates but also the unique method we have created to get results for our members.

We believe that our classes can be beneficial, even life changing for so many people!

Pilates is one of the most popular exercise systems in the country. Sign up for an intro with us to find out why...

One of the best things about the Pilates method is that it works so well for a wide range of people. Athletes and dancers love it, as do seniors, women rebounding from pregnancy and people at various stages of physical rehabilitation.

Unlike some forms of exercise Pilates does not overdevelop some parts of the body and neglect others. Whilst Pilates training does focus on Core strength, it trains the body as an integrated whole.

Pilates focuses on working the deep stabilising muscles of the core that support your spine and include the pelvic floor.

We offer classes, small group tuition and one to one Pilates from our studios in Hoddesdon and Hertford.

  • How long will it take to feel Pilates is making a difference?
  • In most cases you will feel an improvement in the way your body feels and moves within 12 weeks. Most people feel a difference in their back or joint pain within this time. You will also see a vast improvement in posture, balance and strength within this time too
  • How many times per week should I attend?
  • We recommend at least once a week but the more you can do the better the results will be. We also offer support through our exclusive members Facebook group including exercise videos, tips and advice.
  • What’s the difference between Mat based and Reformer Pilates?
  • A mat based Pilates class consists of some standing balance work but mostly mat based floor exercises. We will focus primarily on core work and although your arms and legs will still get a workout, the emphasis is on using the deep truck and stabilizing muscles of the body (your core). Mat work is great for those who really need to focus on balance, posture and mobility.

During a reformer class we use the reformer machines which make the exercises more diverse. The springs and pulleys on the reformer can add resistance for more challenge or can assist participants during more challenging movements making them easier. Reformer Pilates is great for those looking for a more challenging workout and those who want to tone and strengthen.
